Paul Brescia brings 45 years in the farm real estate business and has been with DeKalb Land Company since 1979 when it started. He has listed and sold land mainly in DeKalb, Lee, Ogle and Kane Counties in Northern Illinois. Recently selling over 5,000 acres in Bureau, Henry and Whiteside Counties. Paul received his start in agriculture in 1975 taking a job working for the Prairie Farmer Magazine. Paul visited farms in and around DeKalb, Kane, McHenry, Boone and LaSalle Counties for 7 years. Before that Paul was in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1970 to 1972. Then finished his degree at Northern Illinois University in Environmental Sciences and Business. Paul owned and ran a full line insurance agency in Maple Park and DeKalb for 15 years before selling it in 1995 to devote himself full-time to farm real estate, finally working only one job. Paul and his wife, Patti, reside in Sycamore, IL. |
